2 days 400 Max 6 studentsTraining for recreational and racing skippers and crews who encounter rough weather and problems at sea. The certificate awarded conforms with the eligibility requirements of section 6.01 of the ISAF Special Regulations for category 0, 1 and some category 2 offshore races.

The aim of the 2 days RYA/World Sailing Offshore Personal Survival Course is to provide skippers and crews of yachts taking part in offshore races with the necessary skills and knowledge to deal with an emergency. The course will give you a good knowledge of the safety equipment carried on small boats and the seamanship techniques needed to survive at sea in heavy weather.
